BL Tip Ultrasonic Tips by B&L

The BL Tip ultrasonic tips by B&L, compatible with Satelec or EMS, feature microprojections on the main part of the tip, making them sharper and more abrasive. Unlike diamond-coated endodontic tips whose coatings wear off during surgery, microprojection tips are more durable and efficient during cutting.

The end of the BL Tip tips comes in different sizes and shapes, allowing the dentist to effectively control the amount of dentin removed. Tips with 100µm micro-projections are ideal for removing large amounts of dentin, while those with 50µm micro-projections are suitable for more precise work. They are also very useful for accessing the root canal as the tip termination works in any direction.

Each BL Tip tip is designed for a specific function:

BL Tip 1 is indicated for removing pulpal stone and calcified dentin, as well as gutta-percha or adhered materials (100µm micro-projections).

BL Tip 3 is indicated for removing secondary dentin and pulpal stones. Thanks to its resistance to breakage, more power and speed can be used (100µm micro-projections).

BL Tip 5 is even sharper and longer to allow efficient preparation in the coronal half of the canal and create space for introducing the file. The tip is more flexible, allowing the dentist to change its angle (50µm micro-projections).
