The Endosurgery ultrasonic tips from Acteon are designed for cavity and isthmus preparation in microsurgery. They were developed for an apical retreatment that is minimally invasive, ensuring thorough cleaning and allowing for rapid healing. The active part of the tip has been elongated to work at greater depths, reaching a maximum working length of 5 mm.
Thanks to the diamond coating, cutting efficiency is improved, enhancing durability. To respect the tissues and avoid microfractures in the canals, they should be used at medium power and with gentle pressure. They are recommended for use with magnification devices such as microscopes or loupes.
There are various models based on their function:
Acteon Satelec's EndoSurgery Diamond-coated Microsurgery S12/70D ultrasonic tip with a 70º angulation for challenging access in posterior areas. The diamond coating enhances cutting efficiency and durability.
Acteon Satelec's EndoSurgery Diamond-coated Microsurgery P14D ultrasonic tip is indicated for canal preparation in anterior teeth.
Acteon Satelec's EndoSurgery Diamond-coated Microsurgery P15LD ultrasonic tip is indicated for canal preparation in premolars and molars, oriented to the left.
