Acteon's Endosuccess ultrasonic tips are used for surgical retreatments of endodontic treatments. These tips are diamond-coated only at their tip to avoid over-instrumentation of the canal. This ensures better control of the treatment and preserves bone and tissues. The inserts should be used at medium power and with light pressure to preserve these tissues and avoid microfractures in the periapical walls.
There are different models based on their function:
EndoSuccess AS3D ultrasonic tip from Acteon for apical surgery of anterior teeth. It should be used at the lowest effective power possible and without pressure. Working length: 3mm. The first instrument in the sequence.
EndoSuccess AS6D ultrasonic tip from Acteon for apical surgery. Working length: 6mm. Second instrument in the sequence.
EndoSuccess AS9D ultrasonic tip from Acteon for apical surgery. Working length: 9mm. For complex cases and preparation of the root canal up to the coronal third. It should be activated after being introduced into the canal to avoid creating a "false path."
EndoSuccess ASLD ultrasonic tip from Acteon for apical surgery. Working length: 3mm. Left, premolars, and molars. It should be used at very low pressure.
EndoSuccess ASRD ultrasonic tip from Acteon for apical surgery. Working length: 3mm. Right, premolars, and molars. It should be used at very low pressure.
There is also an Endosuccess apical surgery kit composed of:
AS3D tip.
AS6D tip.
AS9D tip.
