The TruNatomy rotary files by Dentsply Sirona were developed by endodontists George Bruder and Ove Peters. The system combines the best Swiss precision with an absolute respect for tooth anatomy.
The TruNatomy family consists of a series of files designed to accompany the endodontist throughout the entire process:
TruNatomy Orifice Modifier, 16 mm, is perfect for preparing access, preserving coronal anatomy due to its flexibility, diameter, and NiTi alloy. It is also recommended in cases where the canal is not vertically oriented, allowing access to the tooth from different angles.
TruNatomy Glider facilitates the creation of an effective glide path without the need for excessive pressure.
TruNatomy shaping files feature a thinner wire design (0.8 mm) and an off-centered cross-section that provides greater flexibility, allowing the file to be pre-curved if necessary. They are available in three sizes: small, prime, and medium.
These files provide increased safety and a lower risk of breakage due to their flexibility and resistance to cyclic fatigue. Additionally, they save time for the endodontist as less shaping time is required, allowing more time for irrigation.
The TruNatomy system makes a difference:
Smooth sensation during canal preparation.
Better performance and efficiency.
More space for debridement and removal of dentin mud.
Respect for the natural anatomy of the tooth.
Preserves dental structure.
TruNatomy files are available in blister packs of 6 units in standard lengths (21, 25, and 31 mm) for the Orifice Modifier, Glider, and shaping file versions. Assortments of TruNatomy files with 5 files (Modifier, Glider, Small, Prime, and Medium) in 21, 25, and 31 mm, as well as TruNatomy file sequences with 3 files (Modifier, Glider, and Prime) in 21, 25, and 31 mm, are also available.
