The Buchanan pluggers for the Kerr Elements obturation unit have an ideal shape for the final preparation of the root canal, minimizing pressure on it and easily sealing the ducts.
As the Elements obturation unit and the System B unit maintain a constant temperature during treatment, the obturation material does not soften excessively with the Buchanan plugger, and the tempered mass fills the lateral canals as easily as it seals them apically. By deactivating the heat, the pluggers instantly cool down and can therefore be easily separated from the obturation material.
They are available with different tapers: 0.04 (extra-fine), 0.06 (fine), 0.08 (fine-medium), 0.10 (medium), and 0.12 (medium-large).
Additionally, a holder for the pluggers can be purchased where up to 6 pluggers can be stored.
